Audio Signal Generator
Two generators that run independently, together or on their own. The tone generator plays steady tones and modulates them at an exact low rate you choose — as a frequency offset between the ears (binaural), a loudness pulse (isochronic / monaural), an opposite phase wobble in each ear (ipm), or a level swing between the ears (ild). The noise generator plays broadband beds drawn from complex dynamics — crackling avalanches, a tunable 1/fβ slope, multiplicative cascades, a self-organized-critical sandpile, bubble streams, stochastic synthesis — none of which has a characteristic timescale of its own. The readouts and the visualizers state precisely what each signal contains. This tool generates and measures signals — it makes no claims about what listening to them does.
